The last day of November was bright, clear and
cold. Santa was due to visit Cowbridge so we all set off to walk down to
town to see him arrive. Carys, my grand daughter, is just two years and
four months and was quite excited to see father Christmas with his
sleigh and reindeer. So were we.
The town was crowded, as you might expect.
Carys was waiting patiently.
Some children were in fancy dress for
the parade.
I think this man was in his work dress.
I think Father Christmas is getting closer...
My family are all on the edge of the pavement.
Here he is!
complete with all his followers.
Carys and mummy really enjoyed that.
Carys spots her favourite storybook
character
Three of a kind.
We are still waiting for the procession to return to
the Town Hall.
here they come
L'il Elliott, my grandson is also watching.
Santa has elves, also. They help pack
the presents, I think.
This angel looks a little cold.
as does this reindeer. Rudolph the ... nosed
reindeer, perhaps.
Santa is now talking to one of his helpers.
Angels stand by
and that's the end of Santa's short visit to
Cowbridge. Until Christmas Eve, that is.
